Curtis Boehm
I’m Curtis, a husband of 25 years and proud father to three teenage children. Through serving my community as a pastor for thirteen years, I discovered a deep passion for walking alongside individuals in their journey toward healing. This calling has also included working as an addictions recovery counsellor and a parole reintegration worker. I have a knack for finding shared interests with people, and for elevating our shared human-ness together. I love working with couples and helping reignite passion and develop stronger communication in couples and families
Building community is my secret superpower. Whether it’s a community of trail-runners or refugees, we all have things in common! And I have found that vulnerability and participation are doorways to discovery and joy.
My approach to counselling is patient, conversational and collaborative: I listen actively, ask thoughtful questions, and tailor strategies to fit your unique story. Together, we’ll identify realistic goals, celebrate progress, and develop resilient coping skills that honor your values and aspirations. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your family, I’m here to walk with you toward greater well-being and hope.

Mitchell Hunt
Mitchell recently earned his Master’s in Counselling from Acadia University, following a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Education from Acadia. He is a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C) and a practicing school counsellor, bringing years of experience supporting youth and adults into his therapeutic work.
Mitchell centers his work on the client-therapist relationship, recognizing that an authentic presence encourages clients to express and explore their true selves in a safe, judgement-free space defined by empathy, compassion, and playful curiosity. His therapeutic approach is integrative, holistic, person-centered, and culturally responsive, drawing from frameworks such as narrative, existential, ACT, and mindfulness-based practices. Whether clients feel stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or caught in limiting narratives, Mitchell strives to provide compassionate support that empowers them to rewrite their stories and reconnect with their authentic selves. He also welcomes spiritual exploration as a meaningful part of the healing journey when it is of value to the client.
Mitchell works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, nervous system dysregulation, and many forms of dis-ease that result from imbalances and disconnections within one’s emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual being. He recognizes that each person brings unique experiences to therapy and is dedicated to working collaboratively, meeting clients wherever they are on their journeys.
Mitchell also brings 5+ years of participating in and facilitating men’s groups, supporting men in their exploration of healthy masculinity and what it means to be a man in today’s world. He deeply understands the pressures and contradictions that social and cultural messages place on men and is passionate about helping all individuals—regardless of gender—connect with both their masculine and feminine energies in ways that feel empowering and authentic.
In his personal life, he cherishes spending quality time with his family, his partner, and their two cats, Juice and Enoki. Embracing a love for nature and the outdoors, he often seeks adventure through camping, cold dipping, multi-day backpacking, trail running, swimming in natural bodies of water, and walking barefoot on the land. He enjoys pushing his mental and physical boundaries, always eager to explore the edges of his comfort zones. At the same time, he finds deep value in quiet and solitude, often immersing himself in a diverse array of books. Anchoring his days is a daily meditation practice, which remains an integral part of his life.

Natalie Mansvelt MA, RCT
Natalie works with adults and couples who are battling anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and perinatal mental health issues. She also works with school-age children and their parents/guardians to assist in working through behaviour struggles, emotional dysregulation, and major life transitions. She also has a sweet spot for parents struggling with postpartum mental illness. Her primary goal with each client is to get to know them, their unique situation, and formulate a plan together to move forward in a way that builds resilience.
Natalie likes to say that her mission when you begin counselling with her is to make you feel comfortable. Sessions should always feel like a conversation, never an interrogation. She often uses humour and works hard to build rapport with her clients. Where appropriate she will challenge you, but she will always work with you at the pace you are ready for.
Natalie completed her Master of Arts in Professional Counselling through Liberty University and graduated in 2017. Her undergrad also contained a Christian Counselling focus, so she is open to spiritual conversations with clients who wish to bring that into their counselling sessions.
Natalie has been married for 10 years and has two young boys. She is deep in the busy parent stage, so primary hobby right now is taking care of her children. When she gets a moment to herself she loves to read a good book, nap, bake, or binge her favourite sitcoms and reality shows. Natalie is now accepting new clients (kids, teens, couples, individuals, families) for either in person or virtual sessions.
