Counselling, also referred to as psychotherapy or mental health therapy, addresses a variety of issues that people face. Some are more chronic, some situational. Some more individual, some relational. Counselling provides a safe and judgment-free space to process such problems and gain support in seeking solutions or relief from them. Approaches and techniques in counselling vary widely from one counsellor to another based on training and in how they perceive change to occur most effectively and efficiently. All counsellores at Grow Well Individual & Family Counselling have at least a graduate degree in the field of counselling and are registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. Some counsellors may have additional credentialing based on their individual scope of practice.
